Has been a favourite of ours for a long time. But our recent visit was somewhat underwhelming. They did not have either of what we wanted to order. And our server did not know it. Nor soup. Upon recommendation, we ordered the mussels with blue cheese and bacon. Absolutely amazing! It came with hot and delicious fries and a fresh pice of bread. Delicious! This is one of the best spots in Perth for an evening out! Rocky River doesn’t only have a beautiful patio, with a lovely waterfall. They have a great variety on their menu, and delicious food! Great atmosphere, with great staff! 10/10 my favourite spot...to dine in Perth!More

Two for dinner mid-week. At the door we were directed by a sign to enter at the rear patio. Because of an approaching storm, we were promptly seated inside. The Good: Service was fast and friendly, the food was good, beer was cold and the...wine was refreshing. The Bad: It's an old building with hard surfaces and a high ceiling. The droning noise level was deafening to the point where we couldn't converse. We just wanted to finish our meal and leave. Easily fixed with some sound deadening material on the walls or ceiling. Also not a mobility-friendly building. Several steps to gain entry, and a full staircase to the washroom level. The Ugly: While standing in the alley, waiting for service to the patio on this warm evening, we were treated to the various aromas being emitted from the several large garbage containers that were also occupying our space. Really ?? You've got to do better than this. How about a sealed enclosure or maybe a different location for the garbage. To the owners: I'm a long-time Tripadvisor contributor. The food is really tasty. My husband and I both had burgers, his with fries, mine with caesar salad. The casar salad was really fantastic, and burgers were delicious. I do find the portions too large (and I love food!) - I would prefer if...they cut the portions back and shaved a dollar or two off the cost of the meals. I find the prices a little high for this type of food. We also went previously with our daughter, and her kids' meal was equally enormous. The hidden patio is one of the bed in Perth, but if it's a nice day go early as it fills up quick!More

We had a great time here! They were short-staffed, but doing their best, and the staff were very cheerful & helpful. We were 6 people having lunch, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals (fish tacos, chicken quesadilla, burger, poutine, mussels & beet salad). This was my first visit to the cafe. We sat outside in the courtyard. The server was efficient and friendly. The food was elevated pub style eating. I had a blackened quesadilla which was tasty! My mother in law had the beet salad with chicken...and it was very tasty. My husband had a fried chicken sandwich with fries which was also good. Nice selection. Great place to stop for a drink or bite!More

We had an excellent lunch here. Robin, our server, was lovely. The beet salad with goat cheese and shrimp was amazing! My partner had the green salad with chicken which was also fresh and tasty.

Had a burger and fries. The burger was so overcooked, black and so were the fries. Noise level in the restaurant is excessive. Won't be back.More

This restaurant has a pub-feel so need to dress up. Glad me made a reservation for 2, the place was hopping and several parties without reservations had to wait. Always on the search for that perfect burger, my guest and I both tried the Rocky...Burger and I had cheese and bacon added to mine, both meals came with fries. My guest ordered a local (Perth) beer and I had a glass of red wine. We both agreed the burgers and fries were delicious, but not that #1 ranking elusive burger we were hoping for. I ate the burger and could only eat half the fries. My guest ate the fries first and had to take home a doggy bag for half the burger!More

The hot chicken sandwich was delicious. Quesadilla was also amazing. Service was great and we received our food in a timely manner. We'll be going back for sure!
