Yummy quality Italian food. Tried this place for the first time. It’s a tiny cad take out place. I was first impressed with all the fresh pasta that was being made. Quite a large variety. I went for the intention of eating pizza. Prices are higher than fast food pizza but quality was amazing. Super thin crust delicious toppings. Having been to Italy before I have to say it was pretty darn close to being in Italy. I sort of wished the staff were a tiny bit more enthusiastic about working there but otherwise quality was amazing. I can’t say seating is best for a family meal but it’s ok. Will definitely go again and try the pasta. They also have week day lunch meals.

While I've never been to Italy, I can only imagine that the pizza from Vis-a-Vis would be what I would experience. The freshest of ingredients, the chewiest most flavourful crust (you will not leave these on your plate!), and the portions are perfect.
Totally a great find hidden away in the strip plaza next to Michael's and Home Depot on Kingston Road.

Pizza is average but the wait times are stupid. We’ve ordered pick-up and you wait 40mins and then when you get there they put your pizza in infront of you and make you wait another 15. You can try ordering for delivery but they’ll make you wait a whopping hour and 17 minutes for COLD pizza. Makes more sense to order from another average pizza store but at least eat something hot

Worst pizza extremely overpriced taste like crap cardboard dough. Place I ran by Muslim and Indian people who don’t know how to make pizza. The dough tastes like cardboard, please don’t waste your money and time at this place.

They offer gluten free pizza crust and penne gluten free pasta. The staff said "crust is gluten free but toppings are not" !!
The franchise needs to understand and/or have a list of which of their ingredients have allegins in them. Most pizza toppings are naturally gluten free with the exception of possibly items like meat balls and sausage which often have bread crumbs or flour filler.
They cannot say they have gluten free pizza and then say none of the toppings are gluten free!

I ordered from here for the first time. Thought I would get a true Italian style pizza.
I ended up with a floppy pizza, very oily and paid for it all night long.
Probably wont do it again.

Don't do take out! We live about 4 min from this location and we've ordered pizza more than several times on take out and EVERY time we order, they don't put the pizza in the oven until we arrive at the store to pick it up. This business does not value our time! it's a shame because their pizza is really very good. Better to Uber eats and save the disappointment!

Our pizza is cooked in the oven in about 3-4 minutes. There are times customers indicate to arrive in 10 min but rather arrive late and then complain about their pizza being cold. We are doing our best to serve our customers with freshly made pizza.

On a cold winter night my husband and I found this amazing pizza and pasta restaurant tucked away on a side plaza across from the Home Depot. This one-of-a-kind unique, hand-made pizza place is the best in Durham. Featuring all fresh ingredients , and I mean fresh, like real Gran Padano, and real basil, and real buffalo mozzarella, gave forth two of the most incredible pizzas we have ever tasted. Truly like the pizza we would get in Naples. The crust was light, and delicate. Cooked to perfection. Tyler and Wesley benind the counter were so friendly and helpful. And we had a glass of good red Merlot, and a Peronni while we waited for our food. You can sit in, or take out. They also have fresh pasta, salads and calzones. You can order online. Forget the commercial pizza places, and come here for a real Neopolitan pizza experience. We are so coming back here - highly recommended.

I have been here a few times now, and ordered pizza for pick-up each time. The pizza has been delicious each time. Friendly customer service and a great environment to wait in while your food is being prepared (8-10 minutes by the way), or to sit and have your meal. Try this place, you will not regret it, and you won’t go back to other guys after having the pizza here!

Our family of 3 decided to try out this pizza restaurant on the recommendation of a colleague of mine. They had s good variety of pizzas fresh made in their wood burning pizza oven. Our son tried a 10” New Yorker, my wife tried a 10” Prima Vera and I had a 10” Meatlovers. All 3 pizzas were delicious and we shared amongst ourselves. Final verdict was unanimous. The New Yorker was our favourite!
We decided to eat in the restaurant and I was surprised that I could actually get a Peroni. I had no idea they were licensed since the restaurant was set up more like a fast food style establishment. The staff were friendly and quite efficient.
I think next time we will call ahead and pick up our delicious pizzas for a nice meal at home.

The pizza was excellent, and the service was too. The interior of the restaurant is set up nicely and I like the open kitchen design. The price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for.

The day we tried Vis-à-Vis, we first sat in the parking lot for awhile trying to decide which restaurant we should try. I love pizza, so into Vis-à-Vis we went. We ordered two different pizzas, prosciutto and arugula and Quattro formaggi. They were both delicious.
