We arrived on the 5pm ferry and stumbled across the Pierside Restaurant. We are so happy we did! Ordered takeout: BLT, chicken fingers, and a veggie wrap. Everything was delicious and we couldn’t get over the huge portions!
Wonderful service. Highly recommended.
The Pierside Restaurant in South Baymouth was excellent. Best meal of our trip. We arrived at a busy time and only had a 10 minute wait. The host kept tabs on us the whole time and made sure we were seated promptly. Our waitress was...amazing. Very friendly. The tables were spaced out and all the staff were clearly following Covid protocols. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. A great place to stop right by the ferry. Would love to eat here again.More
The food here was decent at best. The fries are very bland and had to be doused in an unhealthy amount of salt to be edible. The chicken strips were kinda dry but they supplied dipping sauce so it wasn’t to bad. The poutine on...the other hand was frightening. Never in my life have I seen shredded cheese on a poutine. The gravy was bland and it was the same bland fries. Overall really disappointed.More
The staff - all of them - are very friendly and personable. The fish is fantastic! We had poutine instead of fries and it was so good! We left a very large tip asking that the chef receive some of it. We’ll be back!
❤️❤️❤️
Had the fish wraps. Bland and boring. Nothing like the picture on the website! Fries under cooked and soggy. Ordered take out and when going in to pay it was so dark and dingy inside The man was just plain unpleasant! Just rude! Give me...your money and get your food over there. Did not even say hello or thank you. I asked where the tip jar was for his staff ? He had an envelope on his side of the partition! and said he would give it to them. I sure hope so. The young lady who did hand over our food was very pleasant as was the girl on the phone when we placed our order. Will definately never return!More
We had the pleasure of having dinner here on Canada Day after a long day of driving from Niagara to Manitoulin Island. We arrived about 30 minutes earlier than our reservation and were greeted by a courteous and friendly staff. The young lady serving us...recommended the fish and chips and they were among the best I have ever had. Obviously they were freshly caught and house battered.
My wife opted for the house made hamburger and it was more than she cold eat.
Overall, a great welcome to Manitoulin Island and start to our summer roadtrip.More
