Our tour group stopped here for tea. It was beautifully prepared and served. A variety of cheeses and dessert items were included. The gardens outside were also quite lovely.

We stopped in for lunch one day and we were so glad we did! We had the seafood stew, which was a bit spicy but wonderful and the soup of the day, which was butternut squash and it was delicious. It came with the most...delicious bread which I could not stop eating! We also had the pizza of the day, which had poached pears, goat cheese and pork on it. It was delicious and the leftovers were great the next day too. We also had the lobster quiche which was amazing. But the best was the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The best I had on the island. The chef's son waited on us and was very enjoyable to talk to and gave wonderful tips on the menu and excellent service. We had a window seat overlooking the amazing gardens. All in all it was my favorite meal on the island. Loved every minute!More

We thought it was going to be a high end experience. The ambiance was nice although kind of loud. The gardens we beautiful to walk around. The meal was only ok and very overpriced.

We went with a family group of seven people, most of the dishes were great (quiche, pork, noodles, kids pizza and accompanying salads) but we agreed that the Pad Thai that I ordered tasted bland and one note. Then the Sumatra coffee after tasted like...it was overstepped (watery and bitter) like a gas station cup of coffee. Overall a very disappointing lunch if you don't order the right dish.More

We only found 2 restaurants at Brackley Beack and this was one. On a drive-by it looked to be extremely popular so we made a reservation. The ambience was OK but clearly meant to showcase artisans work. We shared a seafood pasta and an appetizer...(don't remember what it was) because the food was very expensive. In the pasta dish there were 2 each of prawns, mussels and scallops. The rest was pasta and sauce. It was a very disappointment dining experience. Would not recommend this place. Go to Shaw Hotel instead.More

If the Dunes was just a wonderful restaurant, it would be worth 5 stars. If it was just a tasteful art gallery, it would be worth 5 stars. If it was just an exquisite garden, it would be worth 5 stars. But combining all three...into one entity makes for a sublime experience. Highly recommended!More

Very disappointed with meal , halibut was over cooked ( very dry) not satisfied with the explanation given by the chef that it was cooked properly. Ambiance was not for everyone. Quality of food not reflective of the price of the meal.

The gallery and gardens are wonderful, but the true find for us was the cafe. The surroundings are peaceful, the decor and place settings are inventive, and the food is excellent. I am still thinking about the tasty seafood stew that we enjoyed.

16 of us enjoyed the shops but the grounds with the gardens, carvings , sculptures and paintings make this a fun and must visit location. The dinner was excellent, the beer and wine great and the very busy staff did an outstanding job. Not very...handicap friendly, one of the upper level staff told us there was no parking adjacent to the lower level area. WRONG ! resulting in a a difficult and long trek with my walker.More

Amazing art studio and terrific restaurant. Walk the gardens and then enjoy lunch or dinner. Had a great Albariño. Smoked pear salad is to die for. Mussels were fabulous.

I saw a lot of passion for life & love in this place. From the beautifully-presented food in the resto, to the enchanted garden filled with Asian statuary, to the gallery filled with the work of local artists. Loved the banana-bread encrusted halibut. The Dunes...is a must-see. A quick 20 minute drive from Charlottetown.More

Gallery (which my partner was keen to check) and the Cafe, which was more up my alley were the draws for this location. The seafood chowder, advertised as “loaded” with seafood, was. Creamy & tasty broth. After touring the Gallery my partner had a lobster...quiche - unique take and again, “ loaded” with lobster bits. Maybe a bit pricey, but acceptable. It was a pretty dreary day or we’d have also checked out the magnificent gardens.More
