2 couples, visiting from Ontario on a bike trip, recommended to come here by locals. The food is great, the setting stunning and the staff outstanding. Rustic seating, comfortable yet classy, clean, simple food done really well...really well. Highly recommend the chowder (why not it...is PEI after all), Scallop Dog, mushroom toast (remember that simple food done well?) and haddock. Much more to say but you get the point. Try finishing off with the bread pudding, I did and heard the angels singing. I don't eat oysters, but it looks like I was the only one who didn't. Thanks Jasmine for everything.More

I love PEI oysters and they are extremely fresh here. Our other guests loved the chowder and one of them had the ribs which he found absolutely delicious. I had a Caesar salad which was also very good.

A cute bar in the Landmark Oyster House in Victoria offers great mixed drinks. Marly quenched our post kayaking thirst with a superb briny Caesar topped with a dill pickle spear and freshly shucked oyster. We also enjoyed a tapped beer.

Victoria by the sea is a historic port town on PEI. Landmark fits right in. Comfortable and inviting we had lunch on the outdoor, enclosed section. Chowder was well balanced and loaded with seafood. Beet salad 1/2 serving was a perfect mate. My wife had...the lobster mac, crusty on top and brimming with lobster chunks. Topped it all off with some PEI local brews and attentive service. I wish I could give them 6 stars!More

We went to Landmark Oyster House in Victoria PEI based on a recommendation. We loved the atmosphere, but the service was TERRIBLE! The wait staff was friendly enough, but we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food. We ordered a Caesar Salad...and the Three Cheese Bakers Oysters. Both dishes would have taken minutes to prepare. It was mid-week after the lunch hour, so not a busy time. We waited and waited for our order while other customers were seated and served and left. We asked the staff why was there such a delay and were told that there was a back-up in the oyster bar. NOT an acceptable excuse! Perhaps they had run out of oysters and had to go buy some more. Who knows? But waiting nearly an hour for a simple dish of 5 oysters topped with spinach and cheese au gratin shouldn't have taken this long. When the oysters finally arrived, they were delicious. The salad however looked tired as if it had been waiting for the oysters too. This simple meal was expensive and definitely not worth the wait.More

Excellent service, amazing view and fantastic food. Had the fish tacos and fish cakes with a green salad and beet salad and spectacular. Great service. We were there for lunch so it was still quiet with the time of year but you have to book...for supper or you won’t get in.More

When we made our hotel reservations, I was disappointed to find out they were not opening due to Covid-19. When we arrived there were several boards around the community saying they WERE open, so we made it our first stop! Lovely atmosphere, awesome menu &...fabulous service! Loved the cheeseboard with several types of local cheese, honey and preserves. The Butter Bronzed Scallop Dog in a homemade bun exceed my expectations, My kind companion also let me try her Pan Fried Haddock- delicious. Can't wait to returnMore

There is a ramp in the front and a good sized washroom, but the spaces around tables are tight.
