A1 service from A to Z. The waiter was present, was attentive, had excellent suggestions, friendly. Loved the sampling of beer he suggested. The food he suggested.

The staff's friendliness is hit or miss. The music is a little too loud. The food is great, and so are the drinks.

I come from the area, and whenever my boyfriend and I want to have a night out, this is our go-to place for a great meal. Meals are consistently good, I've tried multiple things from the menu and have never been disappointed. Some think the...prices are high, but when meals are consistently satisfactory I am willing to pay more. You'll never leave hungry from the Pub St. Joseph.More

My husband, 2 year old daughter and I tried this spot on a whim for dinner. We sat on the patio and we waited on by a lovely waitress. We didn’t feel uncomfortable bringing a toddler to dinner here but it was a Thursday around...6pm. It might have been different on a Friday/Saturday and if it was later. We took the last table on the patio. My only regret was that it was getting late so the sun was going down. I’d let me to return when it is sunnier to take full advantage of the patio. I loved my meal, which was a salmon steak burger topped with smoked salmon & a creamy caper sauce. It was cooked perfectly. I would definitely order it again. I believe it was called the monsieur Cousteau. The fries were also very tasty! My husband wasn’t as happy as I was with his meal but still enjoyed it. It was the burger of mixed meats (can’t remember what it was called). The only disappointment for me was the Bloody Cesar. I wouldn’t order it again. It was too bland...I prefer a spicier, tangier Cesar.More

good burger and pizzas, little loud inside when it's pack. Nice selection of molson draft beer as well!

Visited in the evening when it was very busy and lively - not a quiet night out. Atmosphere was friendly and staff efficient. Went back the next day for lunch only to find out that they shut at 1pm for the afternoon. The server was...happy for me to get a beer and stay in the garden after they had closed. I had a breakfast poutine - the gravy is replaced by an egg and Hollandaise sauce. Unusual but tasty.More

Nice pub with a great patio. Terrific selection on the menu. My husband had the cod sandwich and I had the donair. Both delicious and so were the accompanying fries. Nice list of wines and beer selection. Hot, sunny weather made it even more appealing....Busy with tourists and locals. Large heritage building. Beautiful.More

Really nice pub fare. There's a large selection of food here, including juicy burgers, pasta, pizza, and a children's menu. The service was friendly (French or English), and there was lots of sports on the large-screen TVs. It wasn't overly busy when we arrived on...Wednesday night, but still a fair number of customers eating dinner. If I lived nearby, I would certainly come back!More
