Loved this restaurant—one of the best I’ve ever experienced. We both had the quenelles de salmon. We wanted to go back but couldn’t get a reservation.

Beautiful cuisine. One of the best meals of our trip. Small selection of appetizers, main courses and desserts. Everything we ordered was fine dining and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the creme brûlée. One of the best I have ever tasted! Simple but quaint dining atmosphere.

This was hands-down our favorite meal of our trip to Gaspésie, no doubt about it. The restaurant provides a very intimate setting and interesting decor. Though the menu is small, all the dishes are creative and incredibly delicious. Not to mention that the French owner/chef...is a joy to talk to and learn about her journey.More

Everything fantastic. Intimate and interesting decor. Menu small but several daily specials. Creative, beautiful and tasty dishes. Anything but rushed. I had a special- halibut and wife had fried shrimp and sausages. Desert of chocolate gateaux also exquisite. There aren’t many chains at all in...the Gaspe but this couldn’t be further from that experience. A truly unique treat.More

Chef was quite patient as we struggled with almost no French but, with her help, we settled on a most excellent meal: soupe de poisson Provencal; a main of perfectly cooked halibut with many tasty vegetables( carrots, green beans, potato, beet and others) in a...delicious sauce. Filet de Fletan maybe. We splurged on dessert with creme brule and gateau framboise, both with sugared mint leaves, meringue and marshmellow. I would say this dinner is worth a trip to Carleton-Sur-Mer.More

This is a remarkably good restaurant, and it would be worth making a special trip to Carleton-Sur-Mer to eat here. The food and presentation are fantastic, and our meal was one of the best we've had anywhere in Canada. (Try the Saumon Fume St. Honore...as an appetizer.) An added treat is the chance to interact with chef/server, Sabine. Essentially, you are dining in her home, and she makes you feel most welcome. Sabine--Merci pour tout. Nous esperons pouvoir retourner a votre restaurant encore un jour.More

We visited based on local recommendations and were not disappointed. The owner is also your hostess and waitress and is very accomodating, warm, and quite funny. Authentic French restaurant, amazing creations, we will certainly return to next time we're in the area.

To put it simply, the food was wonderful. There was a good selection of seafood and wines. We had oysters from the area which were very lightly garnished with different spices. The quenelles au saumon was excellent and so was dessert. The sever/owner was very...friendly and very French. We speak French and enjoyed talking with herMore

This is an intimate space, and you are waited on by one of the owners. She is knowledgeable and very funny. Every part of 4 courses was amazing in this French restaurant. We will be back

They don’t take reservations in the summer. I don’t know about the winter. You could inquire, however.
