We had received a gift certificate for this restaurant and decided to go for a belated Valentines Day supper. We made reservations and checked on their website and Facebook for their menu and couldn't confirm if it was up to date or not. We got to the restaurant, saw the menu outside and I was excited to try a few... More

Trendy fun atmosphere, felt like we were in Montreal Menu was outstanding, had a real bistro feel to it. Servers were amazing, did a great job translating the menu for me. I ordered blood pudding as an appetizer, it was just ok and came out of the kitchen so fast that it had to have been prepared ahead of time... More

Great food, interesting selection, fantastic vegetable sides that aren't just after-thoughts, excellent service and experience/decor.

We were very impressed by the excellent appetizers, but the main courses were so-so - nothing special, particularly for the very high price.

A new owner but their web site is the old one where the menu calls for wild game type meat to be served...no longer available. The decor is nice, good service but the food does not live up to the expectations. We took the escargots blended with tomatoes and strong sausage, it was quite good: I took the filet mignon... More

We have dined here three times. Each time the food was very good, but the menu leans very much to wild meats. Reservations are a must! It is a great place for a special occasion for medium sized groups. There is an outdoor terrace in summer which is located to the side of the restaurant. Parking is a bit of... More

Nice atmosphere, great variety of exotic meats. The fact that you can bring your own wine is a huge bonus as the tab isn't cheap, but beautiful presentation and excellent flavors make Bon a must try.

A former Auto Parts Shop has been brilliantly transformed into an austerely elegant space with tasteful appointments. Anyone seeking a fine dining experience will not be disappointed at the bring-your-own-wine Restaurant BON on Main Street in Cowansville, Quebec. The menu combines the traditional with the adventurous. Appetizers include seared Scallops, Veal Cheeks, and -- sometimes -- Calves Brains. The Soups... More
