Went for breakfast. Food was very fresh and a pleasant offering of fruit with your order. Menu was available in English, and the staff and us enjoyed the communications. Coffee was good and hit, atmosphere was cozy.

Very pleasant and earthy basic break fast and lung place during low season. It was packed in the morning for breakfast as most places were closed. Sun room was closed but the dinning area is cozy and charming. Inside is diner theme and outer edge...is like a closed in patio with views to the Saint-Laurence river thru gap between 2 large mansions via open parking space. Bénédictines were great. Omelet was over cooked and slightly dry. Fruits , especially staled water melon , we’re not fresh but still nice to have some on the side. Coffee was bland so if you like it stronger, better order separately. Service was slow but there were only two waitresses for the whole pa led restaurant. Price was pre-COVID so quite reasonable. Still pretty good stop.More

Very nice restaurant located next to chez Torchon - great fettuccini carbonara and the salads are a major work with lots of local ingredients all non composed.

This café has some really tasty food on offer; we went while breakfast was offered and there were a good number of choices. Inside, the cafe is very cosy with a small town vibe, and also has a waterfront view if you have a window...seat. Staff are friendly, but can be slightly slow when busy, and the menu is slightly pricy for the portions offered. However, the food offered seemed to be produce sourced from Quebec, so I can understand the price point. Absolutely would recommend, especially if staying in a local hotel or hostel.More

Quaint little café with interesting options to choose from. Although the menu was not very big, the food was amazing. We were seated very quickly, but the food took quite a while to arrive. Friendly staff and very good location.

Amazing little spot for a tasting breakfast and good coffee and mimosa. Menu has a bit of variety, but don’t expect too much as it’s regular/basic breakfast place (no breakfast potatoes and bacon). Went Saturday morning for breakfast there was a line up so that’s always a good impression that a restaurant serves quality. The line up cleared quickly was nice and stood and enjoyed the view while waiting. The service is great everybody respecting the new rules...over being in a restaurant and all in all an enjoyable and pleasant experience I went for California croissant which I will admit hit the spot from the first bite to the last very enjoyable my partner went for 2 eggs a very enjoyable breakfast and will happily go back. Prices are respectable as well.More

Took forever to have someone greet/seat us. Food orders took probably 40 minutes (pizza and sandwich). Had to go inside to pay as the waitress had likely forgotten us out on the patio. Food was OK. Poor service is a recurrent theme in this town.

Omelettes and other choices on their menu are prepared very well. Service was great. well priced. Would eat here agin.

I very much enjoyed the Burger Murray Bay! Really more of a sandwich with sausage that's got a bit of a kick. Delicious! Nice area to sit outside too.

We first discovered this for breakfast (it serves great breakfasts) and later returned for lunch and dinner (both of which have the same menu). It's casual fare with flair - burgers made with veal, pulled pork or chicken instead of beef; thin-crust pizzas; salads, quesidillas...and so on. It's all good.More

My wife and I dropped in after sightseeing the town of La Malbaie, a visit to Charlevoix Museum, the p'tit Gallery Bonheur and a uneventful visit to the Forge-menuiserie Cauchon. We ended our sightseeing at mid-day and we were famished. So a good lunch was...in store. We both went with the combo of Soup and Salad, Panini and a soup. The vegetable chicken soup paired with a Chicken Panini with pesto sauce hit the spot. Very nice place to have a lunch.More
