By the marina, down the very steep hill. Great views, even on the rainy evening we were there. We went out for a drive and passed by this place. Did not think much about it. As it really was not much to look at from the outside. I looked up top 10 restaurants in the area and this Bistro was... More

Just had an excellent dinner in this very hidden gem. The trip advisor map link shows it just off the high street. It's actually at the bottom of a very steep hill by the marina. Makes a difference if you walk, as we did. But absolutely worth the effort!

Located right by the small harbor, this restaurant enjoys prime location with a great view over the St Laurent River. It may be a little hard to find which is why there is so little reviews. You may see the sign at the top of the street. Turn and keep driving down the street, yep.... all the way down. Food... More

This spot was recommended to us by our Manoir Richelieu hotel car valet and we decided to give it a try. Turns out he lives close by. It is tucked into a marina area and a bit out of the way. If you weren't looking for it, you would certainly not just come across it. Doesn't look like much from... More

Visited Le Refuge on a busy Saturday night and was greeting with an amazing waterfront view of the St. Lawrence and excellent service. Waiter spoke great english. The courses came quickly and always piping hot. The lamb shank was fantastic. Truly "fall of the bone" meat. The restaurant is located at wharf of the yacht club so there lots of... More

This is a relatively small restaurant that can be booked to capacity, so make sure you have a reservation. The food is excellent and it has a good menu with lots of variety of dishes, though none of the usual cheap fare. Save room for desert as these are also excellent. Aan earlier rather than a later reservation, it would... More

Our hosts at Auberge Fleurs de Lune recommended this restaurant and booked a reservation for us. We anticipated an informal burger and fish restaurant with a view of the St. Lawrence. We were surprised to have one of the best meals of our vacation in an elegant small French bistro on the waterfront, with linen tablecloths and nice place settings.... More

Food and service were excellent. Our server has just started in early July but cannot remember his name - very warm and friendly and great service. Many local seafood choices and so fresh. Very good value, especially for Americans. Can't say enough about the view - nice little deck too, for nice weather. You have to go!

Don't let the outside fool you! This is a 4 star French bistro, with a friendly wait staff, excellent food, good wines by the glass, and an incredible view. Excellent value, one of the better restaurants we ate at in the Charlevoix region!
