Staying at the Inn, we decided to stay for dinner.
The welcome is warm, even if we are early.
We are seated at the worst table in the restaurant, explaining to us , that nothing, the restaurant is booked to capacity and that the rush will begin soon. We ask if people book specific tables. We are told that no, they determine the tables. I, therefore, makes sense for us to be moved! (the table is in a corner, next to the entrance, almost sitting on the neighbor!)
The waitress comes back and switches places..... we were afraid of a dubious service but ,not at all! The service was perfect, the food good and the value for Award , acceptable.
All things considered, our evening was not unpleasant, but this is not a restaurant we will return to.

Our meals were perfect. Well prepared and presented. My wife had the Chicken Supreme and I had the Pork Medallions.
Our waiter was pleasant and attentive.
I old recommended this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice atmosphere and finer dining.

A give a 4 for two resons. 1 the quality is not the same for every meal. 2 for the quality of food we have the plastic containers for the supper courtoisie entrée was weird. The first meal we had there was the supper it was simply amazing, the presentation the quality the heat and service was way up there. The wine choice was also very good.
The second meal was breakfast I would qualify that one as ordinary. Good hot but but average the potatoes were a little to cooked and my eggs were a little under cooked.

After a long drive we discovered this place for dinner. Some English/ French language challenges but they were patient with us. Service was great and our chicken meal was excellent. Really pretty setting inside a hotel.

Stayed in the hotel and had dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious, especially the breakfast. If you want good food and nice surroundings I suggest dinning here.

Absolutely a wonderful place to eat food was excellent, we couldn't speak French but the waitress went out of her way to help us and made suggestions, would definitely eat hear again, when we head east again.

After driving 7 hours it was nice to have a great meal right in the hotel. The restaurant had plenty of variety. The chicken fettuccine was my favourite. Staff spoke mostly French and was a little difficult at points when ordering, but eventually dinner was correct.

While looking online for a good place to eat, trip advisor tells us about restuarant Couvee. What a wonderful surprize as we understood it to be a good resturant with meduium priced fare. Instead we found an upscale restaurant in cognito. The food was superb, brought to the table in lickety split time, hot and so tasty. To make things better, the service was top notch. Can it get any better.......the ambiaunce .......we loved it. We travel that way at least twice a year and this is where we will eat. Looking forward to it already.

While staying in the attached hotel we dinned here for Dinner and then a quick breakfast before hitting the road. Dinner was very nice and offered many options from authentic Quebec cuisine to traditional fine dinning options. The meal was very good and the staff was excellent and attentive. Depending on your server there may or may not be a language barrier if you do not speak french. The next morning we had an early breakfast which was very good. A typical 2 eggs with options, the service was fast and the food was really good. We would absolutely go here again for Breakfast.

During our stay in the hotel, we had dinner and breakfast in La Couvee.
Compared to the rooms and the atrium of the hotel, the restaurant looks much more attractive.
The waitresses are very friendly and attentive, they constantly keep an eye on the customer to see if everything is ok. And it was ... we had a delicious minestrone soup, followed by the catch of the day and a fabulous linguini due salmone.
Quantity and especially quality at a very acceptable price.
Breakfast was also very nice. Different waitresses, but again top service.
You can choose from the menu and enjoy an excellent meal at a reasonable price.

A lovely restaurant with a large menus and quite a few Glutenfree options. There was only one waitress on this Sunday night but she was amazing. Prompt efficient and very friendly service! My salad was so large I shared it and was it ever delicious with fresh artichokes and greens. Seafood linguine with Glutenfree pasta and wonderful cream sauce was delicious and loaded with seafood! The Thai chicken was also delicious and was perfectly cooked and veggies crisp. Hopefully we will stay overnight in Montmagny on our return and we can eat here again!

I saw the good reviews for this place and thought I would try it. The restaurant is attached to an old hotel which might explain the faint musty smell. Not enough to be a bother. My waitress was lovely and attentive, the food excellent and cheap! It is very accessible to Highway 20. Two thumbs up!

We called in here for breakfast. Staff were quick, attentive and spoke English. The food came quickly, was freshly prepared, hot and delicious. Recommended.

Our meal was not bad, had the stir fry and my husband had the club sandwich.
We would try something different off the menu next time.
The waitress was very nice and accommodating for our toddler.

Smoked Salmon panini was excellent also my wife had the burger w/mushrooms and Swiss cheese which she enjoyed immensely .
Pricing was moderate.
Absolutely a must visit if in MontMagny.
