Talk about a fabulous place to have dinner! The charming Palapa style roof was built by men from the coast who specialize in this type of roof. Reservations are mandatory and the food is great. Try the chicken kebabs and the mashed potatoes or steaks, arracherra or anything is really wonderful.

Fun place, full of expats and locals. My steak was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife. The wait staff were skilled and attentive. I would certainly eat there again.

During my first trip to Ajijic I did not make it to Tango for dinner so it was on my list and I was not disappointed.

While on vacation, our friends took us here (but we paid!). We each had a steak, with potato side (rib eye, filet, and "flay" - the last of which was a super good steak and a really low price). Added one salad, two cocktails, and two deserts. Total cost under $25 US. The service was great, the atmosphere wonderful (open... More

If wanting a big hunk of meat and large portions then this is place to come. If wanting imaginative cuisine or a creative menu then there are better places to try in Ajijic. An out-dated sort of feel to the place and the menu. The filet for two that we ordered was tender but lacked flavour and but was certainly... More

We went for a nice meal. Service was great - reservations are necessary most weekends, especially during high season (Jan - Mar). You need to make them in person, but the restaurant is right on the main drag (Colon), so that's easy enough to do. Staff were nice and accommodating in this large space by Ajijic standards. Food is pricey... More

We had no time to wait for a table and did take out salmon with asparagus and potato and leak soup. Wow, soup was fabulous and the salmon perfect and huge!

My husband had the pizza and I have the filet. The outside was charred and the inside a little too blue (I ordered medium) but tasty.

Not the most Argentinian restaurant I have been to, steamed vegetables???? Never saw that in Argentina. Is more a Mexican/Argentinian mix. It works. Comfortable restaurant with helpful friendly staff. Inexpensive if you share. Meat cuts are large. The steak is grilled over an open fire and is fabulous. The house chimichuri is really good. Frankly one of the best steaks... More
