It was our last night in Ajijic. Welcoming staff, beautiful setting. Very attentive staff. Food was excellent. I have the seared tuna. Of the many wonderful places in Ajijic, this is at the top of my list.

Not so hidden but it's easy to walk right by it. It located on The main drag to the Malacon Colon street, Thursday nights yhey have live music and dancing. The food was wonderful I had Veal Osso bucco and the missus had Spaghetti bolgnese. She said that was the best pasta dish she may have ever had.My veal dish... More

We came here on Christmas day, as many other restaurants weren't open. The garden setting is nice and the staff was attentive. I was happy that when I asked for vegan options, the waiter told me exactly what they could do. That was the end of my happiness there. When my pasta came out, it was covered in cheese. They... We ate at Los Telares two nights ago and regretfully my husband ordered the Portobello Mushroom appetizer. Half way through he said something is not right, spit out what was in his mouth and pushed the dish away and within 6 hours started becoming very ill. I ate my food and had no issues so we know it was specific... More

I ate here 3 times. Very nice and attentive staff and very nice outdoor garden setting. The first meal I had there was not very good- sorry I forget what it was. By recommendation by a local to go back and try the sesame seared tuna, I'm glad I did. It's very good. I even went back a 3rd time... More

This is one of my mom's favorite restaurants, so I sometimes go with her, but I normally don't eat a lot. The food isn't that well done. Nice atmosphere and not too expensive in USD.

I eat at Los Telares often, and felt compelled to write and share what a wonderful find it is. I think it must be the best kept secret in Ajijic as it's rarely busy. But, they have the best food anywhere I eaten in Ajijic or Chapala. Their Seared Tuna is to die for, the house wines are excellent and... More

This is one of my favorite places due to the beautiful garden setting. I love, love, love the Pollo Axixic -- such interesting flavors -- pumpkin seed & hoya santa sauce -- rich and a mild anise/licorice taste. Comes with steamed vegetables. All entrees we've had are good, and not run of the mill. When you sit down, you are... More

As you enter the restaurant from the street, you come to an open-air setting like a garden with a fountain in the middle. Really nice. But the best part was the food which was excellent. I had filet mignon one evening and BBQ ribs the next. Both were cooked to perfection the way I asked for them. Prices were a... More
