As part of our whirlwind trip to the lake ten years ago, Roberto's , then on the lake, was a highlight. So very happy to find it again . We enjoy the food, the ambience and the service and agree it should be in the Ajijic top ten!

A friend recommended this place based on past experiences. Margaritas were not as good as we've had in this town. Most of us had the fish special which seemed overcooked and somewhat dry. We all enjoyed the meal, but felt that there are much better choices.

Tired and hungry after a long daytrip and fearful many restaurants were closed , we saw Robert's sign and parked. We walked some stairs and were pleasantly surprised to see the most lovely restaurant of the trip. I'm talking about the kind of atmosphere that immediately washes away the stress of a long day. It was lovely. A very tropical... More

Service can be very slow, food is reasonable at a good price. Going on a holiday or Sunday can be extra slow so be prepared to sit back and wait!

Had a quiet dinner after a long day at the beach. Atmosphere ia so inviting and Ceasar was so attentive. Stuffed red snapper was simply wonderful

We walked to West Ajijic to have lunch at Roberto’s and it was excellent. We each had fish; mine with a mango terrine and my husband with a mushroom and scallops cream sauce. We had salad with raspberry vinaigrette to start, corn bread with flavoured butters to start, and two beers. Everything was perfectly cooked! Another culinary treat in Ajijic.... More

My husband and I enjoy dining at Roberto's. the menu has a nice selection. We eat here often, they have a loyal costumer following for good reason.

Long before he moved to the carreterra, the dining experience was excellent, as it continues to be. The sea bass with the wine based sauce was delicious. Of course. Those little sweet potato fritters are wicked good. Glad he only serves a few of them. It was wonderful talking with him, catching up on old times. Never go to Ajijic... More

really like this place and intend to go back, tremendous selection of North American comfort foods, from liver to shepherds pie, steaks , etc all meat USDA approved. And the price was right two for one on Friday night. So my wife had Liver, great, I originally wanted lamb, but somehow was given the wrong menu, so had to change... More

Roast beef tender and juicy, red cabbage, horseradish, mashed potatoes in Mexico? This is better than my wonderful grandmother made!
