This place claims to be one of the best restaurants in ajijic but is not in my opinion. Feel that the meals and drinks are both overpriced here. The quality of the food is not worth the price and you are getting so-so service.

took my family there --7 people. Service was ok, food was average. Prices about average for this area. Some of the dishes ordered were not very good, some were average.

Closed. Reopened under new management as Hacienda Don Pedro, an excellent steak house on the western edge of Ajijic. Check my review under the new name.

We had great food, wonderful service and loved our evening. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the cool night temperatures. We had appetizers, main course and dessert. Prices are fair for the quality of all we received. Try it out.

Sometimes it's hard to write an honest review about the food in a restaurant where they know you. I do want to say the new owner and his wife/manager are trying to make things better after taking over a restaurant that was sliding downhill. They schmooze with customers old and new, and make people feel welcome. Nice view of the... More

It's hard to get a tender steak in Ajijic ... this is one of two that fills the bill, great service, much better that the other steak place in town.
