Excellent food and wonderful service! I had left my hat there, without even realizing it, and when we returned for dinner, our previous waiter sought me out to return it! The margaritas are tasty, trucha de 4 quesos excellent and location tops!

I ate here with friends and alone several times. When it's really busy, it's difficult to catch a waiter, but that's true in most restaurants. Fresh, well prepared food, and drinks. Inexpensive.

This restaurant is in a great location on the main square. We had a good lunch and people watching on the patio and a dinner inside. Great steak and chicken dishes. Fast wifi inside. Nice decor and friendly, fast service. My kids appreciated the excellent hamburgers after so much Mexican food but their traditional dishes are wonderful too.

La Surtidora is THE place to see and be seen in Patzcuaro. Located on the busiest corner in town, under the "portales" and with a Great view of Plaza Grande, all make it a "must" visit in Patzcuaro. Excellent coffee and a traditional Michoacán menu contribute to a memorable experience in the colonial "gem" of Michoacán.

The place is cousy in an old house located in the central square, food is good and the attention was also fast and polite, would have loved a bit more sweet bread options though but the chocolate was awesome, bring cash they don't accept credit/debit.

A friend highly recommended this restaurant for its beef. Both my husband and I ordered the steak. It was tasty but a bit tough. The price is quite reasonable. The service was very good. We sat at the outside tables so it was a bit noisy and crowded.

Service was friendly. Food was good. Prices extremely reasonable. These are not necessarily things I expect from a restaurant on the main plaza of a tourist destination, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised.

One of most popular restaurant in Patzcuaro, good selection of plates, always very busy , service was prompt and efficient. Only negative was the fact they did not take CC, for the volume of business they do I see no justifications beside to save money on the bank charges and not the convenience for tourist not have to carry around... Went on a party of 12, we had to be seated outside, cause there were no big tables inside. It was a little bit cold, but the good food compensated it. Mexican plates were really good, at an average price. Recommend.

After a sightseeing all day long we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The service was fast and the food was great. We ordered corundas, tamales typical of Michoacan and they were the best we have eaten. We also had a plate with tacos, gorditas, sopes and guacamole which was o.k. The hot chocolate was excellent. It's reasonably priced. I... More
