Absolutely fantastic! Friendly staff. Wonderful setting listening to the waves lap as you eat lobster, food was perfect. Small romantic open air dinning. Try the lobster you won't be disappointed.

We have stayed in Akumal on numerous occasions and always return to La Lunita. Excellent food, good service and great atmosphere. Outside tables with your feet in the sand overlook Half Moon Bay only about 30 feet away. Start with a margarita or glass of...More

This is an ambitious restaurant serving modern cuisine at reasonable prices. There are a number of Asian dishes on the menu. Some of our group's choices were excellent, some less so. Certainly well worth a visit. Service excellent.

We've always felt this was one of the more 'romantic' restaurants in Akumal. Our visits on this trip did not disappoint. Please have the coconut shrimp. A lovely, beach vibe with great service and food. Always looking forward to our next trip there

What a wonderful lovely romantic thing to do! Fine dining barefoot on the beach while watching the sunset and the stars come out! Everything was very carefully prepared and the service was excellent. Drinks run between four and five dollars for gourmet mixology. A bit...More

Great food, service and atmosphere! The coconut shrimp apetizer was amazing!! We split a blanca brownie and a lemon pie and both were very aesthetic and also delicious!

We had delicious jumbo prawns in peppers, creamed chilis and flan to die for. It was so good we came back again. Great wine list also.

I think it is still on the menu, but not 100% sure. We ate there twice and the food was great, even with special orders.

Don't think they allow you to bring your own wine into the restaurant. Personally this is one of the most expensive places to eat in Akumal, and for the price the portions are small.
