Stopped in originally hoping to use the washroom, but when we saw the super cute and colourful seating we (myself, husband and 2 kids) stayed. We ordered a Brownie dish, ice cream and the key lime pie. I never did get to try the Brownie, the children inhaled it. Which is impreasive considering it was bigger then their heads and... More

Get out of the madness in Cancun, and head south to Akumal. Located just past the colonial arched entrance to this beautiful village, the Turtle Bay Café is an awesome way to grab some breakfast or lunch. The food is even better than the beachside location. Relax under the palapa roof and enjoy some amazing tortas, huevos rancheros, and other... More

We have gone for lunch and enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, my partner had a half roasted chicken which tasted good but looked a little pink for me. You can really stick to the sea food in all the restaurants in Akumal it is all fresh and prepared well. The service is laid back but quick when you get there attention.... More

After swimming with the turtles at Akumal Beach, we walked a block down to Turtle Bay Cafe and had lunch. It was a beautiful day, and we sat under an open-air pavilion. Their menu is HUGE - you won't have any problems finding something delicious. I had the best tacos I've had in years - coconut shrimp tacos were fabulous,... More

Breakfast; Lunch or Dinner; This is your go to restaurant when in the Akumal area. My wife & I are here for 3 weeks and may never leave the restaurant! Just kidding. But these people cater to the local And tourist tastes. We had eggs Benedict for breakfast! Just like home. The Pork Chops for dinner are outstanding; wife loves... More

Walked in to town for lunch, since we were getting tired of the all-inclusive buffet/snack bar. Friends had stopped at Turtle Bay a few days earlier, and recommended it to us. Service was good, and outdoor atmosphere was nice. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, and they were very good. After looking at the dessert menu, we decided we each had... More

This is probably a great restaurant but when I can have a similar meal close by for cheaper I'm a bit miffed. Service is good. Food is good. Easy to walk to from anywhere in Akumal.
