This restaurant is on the corner across from the square. I ordered a margarita, Caesar salad and chicken enchiladas. The salad dressing was runny with little flavour. The enchiladas were good but could have been spicier. It wasn't the best meal I have ever had. It was average but the price was decent.

Had my first tequila flights here and it was delicious ! We enjoyed so much we stayed around to have some food and we were not disappointed. Delicious meals, cheap eats, large portions and great service. Even better tequila though !

The Cantina is located on the central square of old town, which is a charming but noisy spot to have dinner. We selected this place because they were willing to accept US dollars (we were having problems with the atms), although at a poor exchange rate. Still, the Mayan food was tasty, and the service was efficient and friendly.

We were tired, weary & in great need of sustenance after 3hrs wandering around Chichen Itza. We wanted good, tasty taco's & a cold beer. We found exactly what we wanted here. We both thoroughly enjoyed the 2 versions of pork taco's that they have on the menu - it was just what we needed. Sitting outside under the beautiful... More

Great service and great food! Right in the center of town. Great place to eat when downtown. The tacos are great.

Great place to sit on the square and cool off and watch the people. Food was unremarkable. server shook us down for his tip when he brought the bill....had the sheet telling us what 10, 15 and 20 should be. A minor annyance.

My party of 4 enjoyed drinks and snacks here on a late afternoon, and met another couple for the same the next afternoon. I especially enjoyed the cappuccino as well as the lomitos. Service is a bit slow, but no one rushes you from the table either.

As you may have read there have been problems with guest's bills. I have found, on a day when the tour buses are in, and tourists are about, this Restaurant is adding their gratuity on the bill. We are all old enough to know how and when to tip. We do not need, or want, the restaurant to add their... More

Food was average as was the service. Pretty location but nothing special in the food. I've paid a lot less for a lot better
