The curry was good, I had a standard vindaloo. They were besides themselves when they could not seat me, I just walked up. To make up they sat me down, gave me a beer and made a great takeout. I ended up talking to a...More

We arrived without booking and were found a table. The staff were helpful and polite and the service prompt and efficient. The food arrived, correctly allocated. We had a variety of different dishes including several kinds of rice and all were spicy and tasty without...More

Our favourite Indian restaurant covering a large area . Food always consistently very good . Owners and staff are always nice and helpful and treat us extremely well . Always busy and crowded since the restaurant is small and you might not always get a...More

I’ve been eating here for 20 years. It’s always great. The owners and staff are lovely and courteous. I have witnessed rudeness and arrogant behaviour but only from fellow diners! Perhaps a lack of cultural sensitivity? Food is good quality and good value. Delivered by...More

Having just been to the place, I have to say there are a vanishingly small number of places where I have been so utterly disgusted with the service. The guy (who I assume amwas the manager) I spoke to was the most arrogant individual I...More

This tiny Resturant in Old Amersham is a real gem and although I have been going there for years it never disappoints. The staff are fantastic as are the owners, Kamal and Ali. I have had the opportunity to see the tiny kitchen with its...More

Have been to this restaurant after reading about good reviews. Unfortunately had a very bad experience. They hardly care for Indian customers, especially if you are alone. Even though the restaurant is almost empty, they turn you off, saying they don't have seats. Even when...More

The waiting staff are so rude. They actually believe they are doing the customers a favour. This needs to be sorted if they want people to return. We were not the only unhappy customers. There are plenty of alternatives in the area, where the customers...More

Called in a at 6 and booked a table for 6.30, told we had to be out by 8.10. No problem, we’re fast eaters. Can’t believe how uncomfortable we were made to feel about finishing on time. Literally would not let us order separately even...More

Honestly if you haven’t been here you are missing out! The flavours are delicate and well balanced. The onion bhajee is the best I have ever had anywhere. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and have been for years. Small restaurant but very accommodating.
