Good for both takeaway (generous helpings) and eating in. Friendly efficient and attentive staff. Great food at reasonable prices.

We go every couple of months to this restaurant and always find the food excellent and this time was no exception. It was a busy Friday night so had to wait a little longer for food than usual but would happily wait longer as it was delicious. We will return for sure.

Last night in Amersham having to drive back to Holland the next day, my hubby insisted on Indian. We got take out (just for convenience). As we were unsure about the spiciness we let the man behind the counter help us decide. He made great recommendations, the food was delightful. And plenty. Having Indonesian roots we eventually didn't think the... More

Went for a meal with work colleagues, one of whom had not been before. All agreed it was excellent food with very prompt and courteous service. Incredibly reasonable price for the standard of food. Also snug and cosy on a cold winter evening, highly recommended.

We came here for a quick eat and the choice was just about right. The restaurant is small but not cramped and we were lucky to find that they had one table free even though we hadn't reserved. The staff in Indian restaurants are always busy and here was no exception but they were also friendly and attentive, not overly... More

I've been eating here regularly for 8 or so years now, when I am visiting Amersham. The decor is slightly kitsch, but I love it for that. Would recommend the lamb chops, mushroom rice, bindhi bhaji and the Lamb Tikka Dhansak is excellent. Great vegetarian selection. Kingfisher on draft too.

This restaurant delivers a high standard of both eat in and take away food. The restaurant may be small ( always book a table ), though this adds to the intimate atmosphere. The staff are helpful and polite, for take away customers too.

So, after being treated like a stray cat some time ago, I decided to give the place another try. The food has never been an issue, and indeed, it wasn't again this time. Once again the place is let down by service/attitude of staff. I placed my takeaway order and asked for a beer while I waited. The waiter responded... More

My husband and I arrived in Amersham after flying overnight from the U.S. and this was a convenient spot for our first dinner out. We were certainly jet lagged, but enjoyed the meal very much and look forward to going back on another occasion. Enjoyed Chicken Tikka Masala and Prawn Biryani. Limited beer and wine selections.
