Met in Ask at Amersham. There's a strange smell when you walk in. I ordered a salad. There was a short, dark hair in my salad & when I pointed it out to the waiter he said it was mine. (I've got long blonde hair). He just walked away.

I like the ASK Italian in Amersham, it is a super building (an old coaching inn) and then Abi is good. There's a pudding that is like a melting chocolate ball. Wow! Try it!

My partner and I decided to try Ask as we had a fantastic experience at the branch near Kew Gardens. Had not eaten all day so was looking to have a feast. The arrabiata pasta was one of the worst I have ever experienced. It was sent back and again it was just as bad. All of our order was... More

A low key twentieth birthday to celebrate on a Tuesday night and while the relative youngsters are happy enough, we come away scratching heads, wondering why we're feeling all was not quite what it should have been. Service is attentive enough, but the wait for food is long and the results, when they finally come, just feel the wrong side... More

Very, very cool place with very tasty food. Great croquets, very good caesar salad with excellent dressing. Ideal lasagna and a glass of prosecco. What can I want more? Congratulations to the chef and all very nice stuff!

Service was fantastic. We were asked where we preferred to sit, which was a nice touch. When we asked the waiter for a high chair he even cleaned it before giving it to us. Our daughter is 2 and this was the first time someone had done this! We really appreciated the free childrens starter as well as the 50p... More

The menu is always changing and interesting. The food is fairly good although there could be improvements. For instance, the pizzas could have a little more cheese on them.

ASK in Amersham has a very pleasant dining room (the further back the better to see the high ceiling of the old building) and welcoming professional staff. The menu is Italian of course, very well presented and cooked. Two people eating two meals sampled mussels and fried mushroom starters, pasta, Caesar Salad, pizzas, side salad and ice cream. And wine.... More

Nice atmosphere and decor Italian chain restaurant that serves up a good variety of reliable, value for money dishes. This particular restaurant also benefits from very polite and professional staff from Hungary (the guys could/should be the managers). I chose the calzone pollo, which was deliciously satisfying and nicely presented on a kind of stone platter, with the added benefit... More

Description
The quaint Buckinghamshire town of Amersham plays host to the excellent ASK Italian restaurant, situated in a charming building along the cobbled streets of the town centre. This ASK Italian restaurant has recently gone through an extensive refurbishment. We've created a restaurant with a distinctive new look inspired by modern Italian design. And with the help of our expert friends, including awarding-winning chef Theo Randall, we've created a menu that features a range of simple, classic Italian food and an all Italian wine list.
