We visited the Crazy Bear, Beaconsfield a couple of days ago to have the 7 course English dinner. I had purchased this through Groupon a few months back. We arrived early to have a drink in the bar which is just a whacky place to be. I just loved the sumptuous decor. Lunch was 7 courses with a glass of... More

Went for a meal with family on Thursday night and was not impressed with the food. My sons steak was raw inside when he asked for it to be cooked medium. My daughter had wagyu that was way over priced for what it was and was tougher than a rump! To end the experience I fell over a step and... More

I visited along with two friends who had purchased the cocktail groupon voucher. She had purchased three vouchers (one each) which should have given us three cocktails each. Unfortunately the conditions on the voucher were not clear and we were only able to use one voucher which enabled us to have only the one drink. I explained that the condition... More

the only draw back is parking. Once in every which way you turn is an eye opener. The staff clients make for a great atmosphere . The food tasty plated beautifully, there is something for every one.

The crazy bear hotel is interesting to say the least, and the staff were extremely friendly. I'm glad I went, but I'm not sure I would return because of the prices.

Visited on Saturday in group of 6 to start my anniversary celebrations. Shown downstairs to the Crystal room which I suspect had taken design clues from a brothel. No one else in there and no atmosphere whatsoever. We asked if we may move upstairs and were told that we could, once the drinks had been served. We duly moved (and... More

Apologies in advance for length of this review! I have just cancelled my GROUPON voucher. Had a drink in there last Saturday when I bumped into friends celebrating their wedding anniversary. They had come upstairs from The Crystal Room (lower ground floor - no atmosphere/inferior wow factor) to take a look around as this was their first visit. On arrival... More

Took some friends here for a celebratory lunch. The food was absolutely dreadful. Greasy, bland and poorly presented dishes. Service was slow and mechanical. No sense of feeling welcome, no sense of being a customer. No pleasure at all in any of the food. Had we been dining on our own we would have sent every dish back. On top... More

The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield opened in 2008 to spectacular international reviews including Conde Nast's Red Hot List for best new hotels in the world. The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield, a fifteenth century coaching inn, has been meticulously restored and elaborately designed to provide dramatic architecture and uncompromised luxury. The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in quintessential England and the antithesis to bland hotels.
