I have been to The Cape many times. The food is great , its fresh and good quality. The desserts are delicious and the atmosphere is vibrant. The only down side is, I feel you are always rushed to finish your food quickly so the next customer can be seated. On a whole week love it and wish there was... More

I met three friends for lunch at The Cape...we had sandwiches and wraps which were well presented and tasty. The service was friendly and efficient and there was no pressure at all for us to hurry up

I love driving around the country side exploring and finding new places to try. The Cape was mentioned in conversation elsewhere so I decided to do the ride, see a new town and try them. A cafe with the feel of the Cape Malay Quarter in Cape Town, South Africa and a menu to match. It has a lovely vibe... More

We visited here for breakfast with another couple. I had the Mandela with scrambled eggs and it was really nice. My husband had poached eggs and toast however the eggs where slightly over cooked. The portion sizes where not really appropriate for a full grown man. For me the portion size was fine I was comfortably full. Would go back... More

Me an my partner went to cape for breakfast after reading good reviews! Have to say the tea was awful and even asking for a "normal" tea was hard work, all the tea was disgusting however the food was much better an we had a nice breakfast after we got over the tea episode, overall wasn't bad

A busy and vibrant atmosphere. Beautiful and interesting décor. Attentive and professional staff with swift service. We visited The Cape for a birthday brunch and Pippa ( who was expecting us) pulled out all of the stops. The menu offered great choice with something for everyone's taste. When the food arrived the presentation was a lovely surprise and the taste... More

Grabbed a quick brunch - eggs royale which was cooked to perfection and big portion sizes. The berry smoothie and coffee was also fantastic. Couldn't resist taking away some slices of the delightful freshly baked cakes. Would highly recommend this cafe for a coffee, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea as a pleasant environment and great staff.

We were lucky to pass by The Cape as a table was turning over and popped in for lunch. What a fantastic little bistro-type restaurant! A true gem in Beaconsfield! We had the fresh tomato, red-pepper soup and it was probably the best soup I've had in YEARS! So filled with flavour and fresh ingredients that you can taste. Then... More

We'd been to The Cape a few times for breakfast and brunch so decided to try out the evening menu too. We weren't disappointed. All the food was really tasty, well seasoned, and couldn't be faulted. The desserts were presented to us on a selection tray which made them impossible to resist. The service was really good. All the staff... More
