Popped in for a drink and stayed all evening! Greeted by a lovely young man at the bar, we were made to feel very welcome. The pub has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty if comfy seating. Really pleased to have stumbled on this gem.

Pub looked really nice from the outside as we walked past looking for a place to eat. Just arrived in Middlewich and not sure where to eat. Very busy as we walked in on the Saturday tea time, lovely atmosphere and a mixture of ages. Then we realised the restaurant part was in a separate area and we got a... More

having not been to Middlewich before I popped into this bar with friends as it looked decent and busy. I was served by a young guy behind the bar who presented as not really wanting to be there, I felt like popping to the local shop to buy him a bag of smiles. The choice of drinks was disappointing for... More

Ate in the white bear today and can happily say that I am glad I did. Good food and drink topped off with a beautifully restored traditional pub made for a very enjoyable evening.

Menu at the restaurant is varied and everyone will find something they like. Standard of food is high and you can see they have passion for it. Plus if you fancy a drink the pub is... More

Went for dinner and was delicious. Was very quiet only us and another couple in the whole pub as it was Monday lunch time which was a bonus. Food was delicious!! Will be returning very soon.

We were never told why, but we waited an hour and twenty minutes for our meal to arrive. We were the second group of people in the pub, we arrived promptly at 2pm, we only had a main course , and waited ages. Our suspicions were aroused when the waiter came round and asked us if we wanted another drink... More

Thanks for your comments . I need some help identifying the date of your visit as I am not aware of people waiting so long for meals and it will help me work out which team members were on so I can rectify any problems thanks More
