Bizarre!! I regard every item on our menus as representing outstanding value. At £24.00 the New Zealand Sauvignon is a good price. The fact is if you didn't want to run up a £200 bill for four people why did you order four bottles of...More

Thank you, at last someone who understands that we have changed and recognises that we deliver what we now offer. An Informal pub style operation providing a place to have good times with friends with options to eat if you wish. The model is based...More

We have been going to this restaurant for 30 years, perhaps 4-5 times per year, but not so much recently since the last owners decided to do away with salt cellars and adopted the disgusting habit of bowls to dip ones fingers in. Having heard...More

Hi SMT, sorry about our apparent invisibilty, I simply forgot to put the answerphone on that night. We are presently trialling a new stripped back Steak & Kebab concept opening Thursday to Saturday with the kitchen open from 6 until 9.30 and also a Sunday...More

Thank you for your feedback, we try to use it to the best of our ability to further develop our establishment. The night you visited was the first Saturday we were unable to have our live acoustic guitarists, which really enhances the atmosphere. In terms...More

The restaurant has recently reopened under the name Steak and Kebab which was its name many years ago. We have not been for a year but decided to try it for old times sake. What a pleasant suprise. The menu has gone back to basics...More

We recently stayed at Mottram Hall and having decided their evening menu was too expensive and limited (especially for vegetarians) we decided to try Prestbury Village. We booked a table for 7.30pm, but as it started snowing, we changed it to 6.30pm at short notice....More

The New Steak and Kebab has a deliberately stripped back menu based around grilled food with specials available subject to availability. Its drinks list is equally uncomplicated. The emphasis is on Good Times in Good Company. The atmosphere is very informal and easy going. Live acoustic guitar may be playing over the weekends. You are welcome to just have a drink with us, possibly with some nibbles or decide to eat from the menu if you wish.We are currently opening Thursday, Friday & Saturday with the kitchen taking orders from 6pm until 9.30pm for food. On Sundays we have a brunch menu from 11am until 2.30 pm as well as the Grill menu.
