Just on A50 Arclid area in Cheshire. Ample parking. Old fashioned period décor. Not cheap but the food is of high quality and well worth the expense. Great place to celebrate special occasions. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again. Every one in our party enjoyed...More

Waited over an hour for food, very crowded and cramped and noisy. Given bread rolls to stop the hunger pains, food was mediocre and expensive. Will not be making a return visit.

Had lunch here, steak and mushroom pie, absolutely delicious and piping hot. Very friendly bar staff and table service excellent. Slice of orange unnecessary and detracting but apart from that first class. Will definitely be going back.

Good home made like food. Scallops a bit undone but tuna steak and other mains good quality. Nice atmosphere and place is quite popular so can be tricky to find a table. Nice and professional service.

Lovely venue for a surprise party, cannot fault the food or service both were excellent. Staff very helpful before the evening with planning the surprise and the barman was so helpful in advising which wine to serve.
