We visited on Friday lunchtime. What a pleasant surprise! Friendly helpful staff and a wonderful dining room. The menu covers everything! With a wonderful specials board. The food (I had pan seared sea bass and my husband had tempera cod and chips) was delicious. Well cooked and very well presented. It may be hard to find but well worth a... More

Stopped by on the off-chance. Very pleasant pub with welcoming staff. Good choice of well kept beers. Excellent meal for four adults and one child. Highly recommended.

We had a soup starter which was very nice, but would have liked bread with it not 3 small croutons - we had a roast beef dinner which was very poor, the beef was hard to chew & had no taste, there was only 1 roast potato a spoonful of mash and a very small amount of veg. All was... More

Very charming pub tucked away in the Cheshire countryside. Good food, great selection on menu and generous portions. Had the Sunday roast and they even obliged to give a mixture of different meals available on the day. Cannot complain ; ) Will definitely return.

when we arrived we did not feel welcome, miserable manager & staff. Shame really because the food is lovely, but when you are paying good money you don't want to feel uncomfortable. We could not wait to finish & leave, safe to say we will not be going back!!! Not family/child friendly

Called in originally for as drink, however, when we went in and read the menu we decided to stay. Family of five fed for about £50 including drinks, can't be bad. Portions were a good size, so no room (or comment) on desserts. Wonderfully seasoned and well cooked. Great service and wonderful surroundings. The kids made use of the play... More

In good weather the garden here is a very pleasant place for a drink or a meal. I used to go there quite often, but in recent years much less often because my wife can't get that far from home except by car, and I like a drink with my lunch so I don't want to drive. It's still a... More

I visited the Bluebell Inn as I hadn't been for years and it was a lovely surprise. Big menu, not too expensive and everything we ordered was delicious! Friendly staff too, will be back there soon :)

The Blue Bell has always been a great spot for friendly service, real ale, traditional warm environment and a great garden. The new head chef who comes from a very well respected banqueting hotel nearby, and who has brought some of his brigade with him has completed the offering. The food is interesting but not pretentious, well presented, flavoursome and... More

The Blue Bell Inn is one of the very few 16th Century Inn's left. It was taken over by the current owners in July 2008. They introduced home cooked food, fine wines and a warm welcome. The popularity has lead to an extension being required to accommodate more dinning space. This creates space for another 60 diners in the restaurant, which has been designed and built keeping the 16th Century theme throughout. The restaurant is accessed directly from the large car park via a gently sloping ramp allowing wheelchair access, or through a new archway from the pub. We welcome families and have a dedicated childrens play area outside in the garden.
