Nice cozy pub ,with quaint interior, polite bar staff ,we only popped in for a drink ,had a browse at menu look appetizing.Exterior was child & dog friendly with the surrounding area train museum plus Steam railway in the same vicinity.

Quaint and very friendly pub. The people behind the bar were great and welcomed us and our dog. Nothing was too much trouble. Great tasting food and we didn't have to wait long.

Top of the bill. Cosy warm and friendly. Nice food. Good Guinness Location next to the train station is an extra PLUS.

So sorry Fozie, suggest you "google" it. I only went lunch time and its certainly open weekdays lunchtimes but then shut for the afternoon. I live other end of Cumbria so don't know it well. Good luck.
