Traditional tea room with pretty table cloths. Homemade blackcurrant crumble with cream made me very happy. Will be back to try the gooseberry.

This place is very under rated. We went to the cafe while on holiday a few weeks ago - not so much by choice, but because this was one of the few dog-frienly places that was actually open on the day we visited. Having read trip advisor reviews while standing outside, we were a bit apprehensive about going in -... More

This place could/should be a little gem considering its excellent location in the village, double fronted and big inside, however the place is just filthy! All of the tables had crumbs and food stains on the tablecloths, the floor hadn't been hoovered (& we were apparently some of her first customers of the day too, so its not like she'd... More

It was "SheepFest" in Sedbergh over the weekend 17 and 18 Sept 2016 and we arrived on our Tandem to a very busy place. The Sedbergh Cafe did not seem to appreciate that on a weekend that was going to be busy that they needed more than one Schoolgirl, because that is what she looked like as the only waitress... More

We have been enjoying eating at The Sedbergh Café whenever we have visited this area since 2007. We like to take walks in the area and The Sedbergh Café is welcoming even when we are grubby from walking in rainy weather. The décor and food are that of a traditional café or tea room. They always have a freshly made... More

A delightful cafe with large windows overlooking an interesting road junction and the church. As well as good refreshments a nice place if you are a people watcher

I have just visited the cafe and immediately noticed the mud stained carpets from the number of walkers that must frequent the place. For an establishment that is only open for 3 days a week, I would expect that this would be much cleaner. First off, we sat at a table to the rear of the cafe that was more... More

Great cake great coffee however my wife is a Ceoliac and we asked for a gluten free cake as it was advertised on the wall in Bold. The waitress did not have a lie spent ages serving us and was really poor.
