Cannot fault this inn. Decent website, instantly loved the real ‘pub’ atmosphere the minute we walked in, warm, packed full of locals and visitors, good homemade pub food. Really do recommend, we were staying in Skelwith but drove twice for dinner here.

We eat here every time we visit the Lake District and it never disappoints The brill with Mediterranean vegetables was excellent as was haddock and chips later in the week. Helpful staff.
