Tea and cake is always fine. Lovely location and outside seating. But always bland, tasteless microwaved food. Latest visit was the quietest we've ever seen it and the food still came out soggy, scorching hot, suspiciously quicky and obviously touched my Chef Mic.

Visited Wilf's for lunch with a friend, I had the vegetarian chilli which I loved. My friend had the jacket potato with cheese and coleslaw, the slaw had a funny taste but she enjoyed the food regardless. The café is also dog friendly so pooch...More

Have been a few times, always hope for better but never reaches expectations. Coffee poor and expensive - just call it milky coffee if that’s all you can make rather than pretending it’s a cappuccino. Shortbread very sweet and bland with cooking chocolate blob on...More

only that I know he is there most days. My first review was 2015 and little has changed, in that the standard is very high. The food (I have Veggie Chilli) is excellent , one can see from the side salad that it is all...More

Not impressed! Food limited! Quick convenience food which is very over priced! Shall not visit again!

A good stop for coffee and bacon butties after an early start from West Yorkshire. Spacious, but with cosy seating. A very extensive menu.

Over priced £1.50 for a can of pop?.. I think is a little steep. Had a jacket potato takeaway - all I can say is my fist was double the size - very disappointing - would not go again.

We stopped here for a leisurely lunch and coffee. There is a stunning decking outside which overlooks the water. The menu isn't huge, but does the trick and prices are reasonable. We enjoyed a jacket potato and the veg chili, with delicious chocolate milkshakes. The...More

We went here specifically after finding it recommended on TripAdviser, and we weren’t disappointed! Great value breakfasts, which come with a drink and toast, for a great price. It was raining heavily, but we still had a quick look at the views which must be...More

This cafe is located next to the Hawkshead Brewery and backs on to a river, where tables overlook a small weir. There is even a small fish ladder built into the weir to allow the fish to swim upstream and spawn. The food is excellent...More

Our Cafe is tricky to find at the back of The Mill Yard by the river, but deserves to be found for all sorts of reasons.... Based in the old Bobbin Loft with some of the old line workings still in place, we have traditional seating plus a cozy sofa area inside plus decking over looking the river Kent for warmer days.
