Had a lovely meal at the Coach and Horses today. Food was plentiful, decent price and home cooked. We all thoroughly our food. The pub itself had a lovely atmosphere with friendly welcoming staff. We'll definitely be returning. Don't drive past, this place is lovely.

Stopped over in the area for a few days and decided to try this place based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed. Warm welcome as soon as we arrived and recommended food and specials. Simply lovely food and great service. Highly recommended this pub/restaurant.

Warm cosy pub with log burners. Excellent service and lovely home cooked food. We have been for both Sunday lunch and an evening meal. Both were really good.

Came here for dinner on Sunday evening. Got a lovely warm welcome on arrival from the landlady. We both had stilton and broccoli soup to start which was served with a warm roll, very hearty and tasty. I had the special beef roast whilst partner had the recommended stuffed chicken. With arrived with a huge side of new potatoes carrots... More

We visited the Inn with family and found a warm welcome, good selection of ales and good food. The pub was comfortable with a good atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food with a good selection on the menu and specials board. All in all well worth a visit

Me and the misses visited on a Monday after a Heavy weekend on the ale. Walked in staff was welcoming. Seen a Barnsley chop on the menu (not seen for years) mrs had steak and mushroom pie. Food was decent and reasonable priced. Enjoyed the decor nice to see royal crown derby, nice touch of class. Will visit again

I have been coming here with my family for years. The setting is lovely and cosy and the food is always good, great choice of pub classics for lunch or dinner. Average prices.
