Good food, nice atmosphere and great variety. The bangers and mash pick and mix is a great idea and the Pizzas are very generous in portions. Nice pub and was very busy with locals so had a warm atmosphere.

The decor in this pub is wonderful - there are a variety of little rooms and nooks where you can sit and eat or have a pint. We really enjoyed browsing through Villager Jim's book of photography of the Peak district. Their setup is a...More

Went in for bangers and mash - different flavours to choose from. Had mustard mash and onion gravy with sausages in a large Yorkshire pudding. Went on Monday night, easily served. Two children shared a large pizza. Relaxing atmosphere. Reasonable prices.

Came here on the first night of our holiday and it was excellent. Lovely service and great food. The pub is your perfect British pub and had delicious lemon water to help yourself to which was a lovely touch.

Just looked at their website. It says they're open for food from 8 am to 9 pm. Wouldn't hurt to call to confirm.
