I wrote a glowing review in November last year and have visited this pub several times since then. However my last visit in May of this year felt as if I was in a totally different pub. The staff varied in their approach and they...More

We have visited this pub on and off for many years and always found it reliably good. Today was no exception. Straightforward food, well cooked, friendly service, reasonable price.

Hi, in response to your response to our review. We were unable to complain as we were the guests at a birthday lunch for which we were invited. It would have been very embarrassing to our hosts if we had pointed out these problems at the time. We appreciate that your staff came to ask if everything was to our taste but again it would have been in very bad taste to voice our opinions. If we do return to your restaurant we will let you know what we think at the time and we hope that this will be compliments.

Description
The Greyhound is situated on the A61 between Chesterfield and Alfreton in very beautiful surroundings. We serve the tasty Tavern Table food menu which proves to be very popular amongst customers, especially the famous rotisserie chicken, cooked fresh in house all day. Our food is served till late on weekdays and weekends, and outside a roomy beer garden, patio and children’s play area are just perfect for when you want to take five and have a sip of your favourite tipple! So please drop by the Greyhound when you can!
