This is a Wetherspoons pub. The menu is large and there is plenty of choice. The Curry night on Thursday is great value with a free drink. I had a steak and chips with onion rings. It was very good value. There are a variety of beers and the staff know about them and can recommend something for you.

Went for the curry night and ordered two Currys, everything arrived and was hot and tasty! However there was no chutney, how can you possibly have poppadoms without chutney! I asked the duty manager why they couldn't have just gone to supermarket and bought some chutney, his reply there was nothing left in budget for chutney as it had all... More

What it says on the tin - £6 for chicken chips and a pint, you can't go wrong. I've eaten the specials in here four nights a week on some occasions, and it is always a great bolthole when you can't be bothered cooking.

We go every week for Steak Night and it's a typical Wetherspoons. Can't argue with the prices, some weeks the food can be very good and some weeks it can be below average- but all in all not bad for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Due to being unable to go upstairs to the toilet due to health issues I was sent to the disabled toilet. On entering, the toilet seat was raised and the surrounding floor was wet with urine. When putting the toilet seat down i found dry excrement stuck to the back of the toilet seat. I told the bar tender about... More

A nice friendly pub. Staff work really hard and keep a tight ship. Never had a bad visit here at any time of day.

Live locally and go fairly regularly as it's a cheap and cheerful night out. It's a wetherspoons chain pub but in fairness to them the young staff are generally very friendly and up for having a laugh, the drinks are (as in every Wetherspoons) cheap but decent brands as they do follow trends. Food is very good value and verges... More
