We stopped in Tideswell on the off chance of getting a hot drink late morning on a cold, wintery day. We only intended to have a drink but once inside the Vanilla Kitchen we were soon tempted by what was on offer and my partner...More

Great to find this open in early January. The scones were large and great to taste. Good coffee, and helpful staff. There was a good lunch menu, but we were a little too early to eat lunch.

Had lunch here and the food was great. I had sausages and mash, my daughter had cream tea. There is a good selection of home made food, lovely decor and nice friendly staff. Would recommend

We made a quick stop just to have a cup of coffee but the fresh made scones were too tempting, and we were glad we gave into temptation and made the stop longer than intended. The scones were a delight and came with clotted cream,...More

A warm welcome from this lovely cafe. A good range of food on the specials board, some really inviting homemade cakes. Reasonable prices and dog friendly too. Soup was excellent with a French bread crouton and warmed roll and butter. Large and tasty scones.

Good food. Dogs are made welcome. The owner is very friendly to customers but we've heard her being a bit short with her staff, which of course makes us feel uncomfortable as customers. Other than that, it's all great. Nice outdoor seating area too.

Friendly service with some interesting items for sale. Scones were nice but rather dry. Coffee nice. Clearly has some regular local residents who the owner looks after well. There is quite some competition in this Village, but this venue seems well suited for larger groups.

Have been driving through Tideswell for years, so decided to stop here for a coffee as it was reviewed in 'The Guardian'. Friendly service and good coffee and a nice selection of cakes. Minor down side (personal choice of course!) - radio on quite loud...More
