Place is cold, lacks atmosphere. Just a dull badly run pub. Forget it. Don't bother visting better pubs in other local villages.

Really friendly pub, we had a great evening that started with a quiet pub meal and ended on the Tideswell Tequila Train! Warm welcome from locals on both sides of the bar!

A really cosy, lively local pub which serves great food. The staff were lovely and the quiz on a Tuesday was a lot of fun-we’ll worth a visit!

We are visitors to the uk and this is probably the most disappointing meal we have had, ok the food isn't exciting but they couldn't do that well. Otherwise good for a drink but wouldn't go near the food.

Spent a week self-catering in Tideswell, and we ate here twice. Good food at reasonable prices. Much, much better than the chain pub a few hundred yards up the road...

We were there in July 2017 and were able to view the menu beforehand by searching the name of the pub.
