We arrived late on a cold, wet morning, yet the cafe as warm and inviting. We were lucky enough to get seats in front of the open fire and settled in to enjoy an awesome breakfast. Thoroughly recommended.

Café ensconced within the Daylesford botanic gardens and with a really pleasant atmosphere, I would recommend a visit. The food was good, the staff friendly and there was enough food and drink choices for the 6 family members who all commented that the visit was...More

This is our third visit to the Wombat Hill botanical gardens. The weather over Easter was excellent (for once) & I don’t think we could’ve found a more ideal setting for a lunchtime picnic. This is the first time we’ve tried the cafe and I...More

It sure is getting cool isn't is? The wood pile is currently being stocked and the fire will be roaring in no time. We hope to see you back soon.

We've taken your comments on board and always appreciate constructive feedback. Just to clarify - our Salad is made of lamb - marinated and slow cooked - perhaps a different style to what is sometimes common in cafes. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive but...More

We could have stayed here for hours sitting amongst the natural surroundings, heirloom tomatoes, olive trees and herbs. Awesome service, delicious food and reasonable prices. Loved it!

Located in the centre of the Wombat Botanic gardens, this cafe is classy with quality food, in beautiful surrounds. Coffee is at times the best in Daylesford...which is quite something given the stiff competition.
