If you're looking for a great steak - and enormous oysters - this is the place for you. Fine dining it is not. But sitting at long tables in an open 'farm shed' with cattle brands on the walls gives it an outback feel. Huge serves and plenty of vegies to choose from and you can watch the chef in... More

They've recently (?) hired a new chef and the food is back to its high standards. The chicken parmy was a crowd favourite and the servings are generous. Went recommend to get there early because it does get busy!

Good food on large plates that you can fill yourself at the veggie bain marie. Interesting decor that's very country.

Missing cutlery and crockery, no washing up liquid, and microwave not working. Hot water took about 5minutes to come through which feels very wasteful in a drought. Sheets were clean but doonas and bed spreads were dusty. Room was a bit musty. Restaurant was closed disappointingly.

We selected this restaurant after a recommendation from another traveller. It is housed in what is really a large ironbark shed - undercover and with open sides. Meals were ordered and paid for and your number called to collect the meal at the kitchen. The meals were of good quality food prepared quickly and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was friendly... This is an older style motel but is very clean and comfortable. It did have a noisy air conditioner though. The open air restaurant is off to the side of the motel but the food is great. Service was friendly enough.

We decided to eat at restaurant as we were staying in the motel and glad we did. The meals are well priced and options are good. They have a salad and vegetable buffet station which was shocked with good assortment including roast pumpkin, pasta salad, mash potato, potato bake and cheesy cauliflower. The portions are ample so prepare for a... More
