Great food, right by the beach! Back packers deal with a drink included. Accommodation great too, in the middle of rain forest.

Some of the groups meals were good and some were not impressed. Be prepared for a 5-10 minute steep walk down to the bistro and return. Not very suitable for elderly people who may not be able to walk so well or who have breathing problems.

I visited for lunch and wasn't disappointed. I had Kangaroo steak and it was amazing. Was a big steak and tasted delicious. Not sure of the price and was included in a tour. Has a pool you can use and located on the beach which is nice to walk along.

The food was surprisingly good in this restaurant for such an out of the way spot. Joel the chef is to be congratulated. He turns out a high standard daily and his scrambled eggs were the best ever. Good bar which serves shots and every beer you could want. Best avoided at lunchtimes as day coaches from Cairns drop over 100... More

This was not quite what we expected to be honest. Seems like a backpackers bar and venue; loads of young people about and quite a limited. At menu That said we all four are nice lunches which were value for money and cooked quickly.

We had lunch here on the day we arrived in Cape Tribulation. The resort feels a bit run down, but the bar/restaurant is locate close to the beach. Hubby had a burger and said it was good. The wedges were quite good too. It was an enjoyable meal but not the place to go to if you're looking for something... More

This is a nice spot, I think a YHA hostel with a very large canopy area for tour groups to eat. The food is reasonably priced and filling, good quality. While the facility has obviously been there a while, it is well maintained and has a friendly staff. There was no phone signal I think, and I don't know about... More

This place is marketed as a quiet relaxing place where the rainforest meets the reef, so the horrendously loud salsa music in the bistro should have been our cue to turn and go. But this place is quite literally the end of the (sealed) road. We had the worst calamari my partner has had in Australia. Clearly a packaged product... More
