This great coffee shop is on Coondoo St, rather than Thongon St, and is a real hoot. We found it by accident the first time, and went back again and again. The cafe itself is an eclectic mix of Bob Marley and ET, various art and all kinds of parafenlia, and the owner is good fun. I really can't understand... More

The barista is a hoot, but I could see why some people could be rubbed the wrong way. We, however, enjoyed the conversation, even though it bounced around a bit. We had originally stopped in to see about some coffee to take with us, as we were staying in the area, and the barista told us they were sold out.... More

Great place to chill out at while in Kuranda! The coffee is fantastic and very affordable, so is the food. I would happily sit here for an hour everyday chat with the workers or read a book among the creative decor

Went with the family for a coffee and when saw locally roasted coffee beans I got excited as I love experiencing various flavours of locally roasted coffee. Went to order at front counter with my extended family, found the man extremely rude. Asked about the flavour of their roasted coffee, he said its unique and try it if you want... More

Awesome coffee. Just what we needed after a train ride up the mountain. The barista was great fun and the place is very interesting

The care and attention to detail that goes into making these coffees is enough on its own to get you going back again and again. But sit down and enjoy a few of the owner's and local's stories and you'll be tempted to stay forever!

Good, solid, local coffee served with a friendly word from a tiny store full of funny signs and local bric a brac. It is obviously one of the places the locals go, but they have a different price structure available to them. There are a couple of tables outside, where you can watch both the tourist and the locals go... More

Dropped by on a Saturday round lunch time, only to find the place closing up & reluctant staff, eager to be elsewhere. Went across the road & was welcomed with open arms & a great coffee.

We went to visit this little coffee house after reading a great review on trip advisor from an American couple. Unfortunately very disappointed just wanted to enjoy a local coffee roasted and made straight forward on the premises. Michael was a lovely chap but off with the pixies and adding all sorts of non coffee ingredients to our coffee we... More
