I ordered the calamari and chips for $18. Was a little disappointed when only 5 bits of calamari some chips and dry beetroot in my salad came out. My boyfriend ordered a spicey chicken burger which wasn't spicey at all. Other then the food service, was good and the staff were friendly Probably wouldn't eat there again. On a more... More

This is the rudest cafe i had ever been in Australia. The owner was very snappy, unaccommodating, aggressive and money grabbing woman!!! My 6 month old baby was slightly choking while we were having breakfast. I quickly approached the person at the counter to warm my baby's feeding bottle so I can quickly feed him and to appease the choking.... More

Kuranda Village Café, Bar & Grill Mixed assessments on TripAdvisor but our 15 minutes’ experience was all smiles, pleasant, attentive and, importantly, a couple of refreshing coffees that provided for that ideal mid-morning break between an early breakfast in town and lunch walking the boardwalk alongside the Kuranda scenic railway over-looking the Barron Falls – low rain season, and water... Great brunch spot in the busy tourist town on Kuranda. Typical food fare (we had the big breakfast and the benny) and we're served by the extremely friendly staff very promptly.

In a busy tourist town, we wanted some lunch. This cafe did the job with very generous serves of home made lasagna and a club sandwich that hit the spot. Our 18 month old enjoyed the lasagna too which is always a relief when traveling with a toddler. Not sure why the previous terrible reviews we thought it was ok.

My 3 children and l decided to have lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Staff were rude and made you feel like you were an inconvenience. When l went up to order l asked for no tomato on my son's burger and the stern reply l got was "no changes to the menu". I asked if someone would be... More

We stopped here for milkshakes. They would be the worst I've ever had. Tasteless. Not enough syrup and no ice cream that we could taste. Everyone's just tasted like plain milk. Thank god for food colouring otherwise we wouldn't have known the difference between banana and lime. Thankful we didn't order food.

I would never recommend anybody to have a meal in this café. When I walked in and started to look for a table to sit down the waitress/owner shouted at me that the toilet is the other side of the road. I told her that I wanted to sit down and order she looked like surprised and turned away, never... More

Clearly my family and I did not read the tripadvisor reviews before dining at this so called cafe. Rude does not begin to decsribe the behavior of the owner/manager. The experience for start to finish was appaling and matched the quality of food we were served.

Probably wouldn't go back if you paid me. Rude response from staff at front counter when one of my family did not reply to her-he is in fact partially deaf. I received a rude response (eye roll and attitude)when i enquired politely about gluten free food. The owners of this mediocre cafe are lucky that most of their custom comes... More
