We needed a fast option for a meal recently and the bowls club suited us perfectly. This bistro is within a club, poker machines and large screen tv's showing football games abound, but regardless of this the club is a pleasant spot. Very clean and well presented. The menu isn't a huge one,but what there is, is good. The portions... More

We spent a couple of hours up at Mossman Gorge and took the family for lunch at the bowls club, food was your standard pub meals, everyone has happy with their meals, I had Lambs fry and bacon. After lunch we had a bowl, staff couldn't be more helpful, very friendly and well worth a visit. Only thing missing is... More

used to eat here regularly 15 years ago. The space is pleasant and updated but food too salty. Also they stop serving really early so beware if you want dessert.

Really poorly cooked meals and don't go without eating first. Expensive and staff really just don't want to be there. We had the tough lamb shanks with cold mash and second week the coconut curry that was the size of a kids meal with just a small spoon of rice, absolute rip off, won't be back for a third disappointment..... I am a social member of the Bowls Club and, like many locals, enjoy calling into the Bowls Club for good food and company.

We were staying locally and took advice that the Bowls Club could do some basic food as my wife has diet restrictions. She had the lamb shanks and I had the fish and chips which were both enjoyable. Drink prices were good and the bar staff friendly. In fact we went back there the next night and the vegetarian spring... More

We had a nice lunch in a family friendly environment - that means the only kids we saw were in a room with 2 pcs and a sign saying no adults allowed! People playing bowls and some ladies having lunch. We only had a brief visit but the staff were friendly

There is always a fresh salad bar and some specials. Our favourites are the grilled red emporer and the lamb shanks. A lot of the meals are deep fried but you have enough choice to be able to avoid this. Drinks are very reasonable and children are welcome
