We have breakfast here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. Staff are friendly and service is good despite them being extremely busy on Sunday's. The coffee is also great and I love the informal country setting. Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ladies don't forget to visit Global Freestyle clothing shop across the car park.

My wife and I were in Yungaburra on the Atherton tablelands recently and drove around this gorgeous little village. We did not know there was that much to choose from in the area, we both agreed and the Whistle stop looked so inviting and the staff were so friendly.

I judge such places by the amount of effort being displayed by management, their initial contact with me and the exit approach which is most important to leave the customer with a nice feeling. In the case of the Whistle Stop they do everything well. Of course the food is excellent, country fare with a touch of big city, which... More

Coffee was ok. The food was delicious but a little pricey. Pretty laid back service to the point of a smile wouldn't go a stray when serving..

We've eaten here a few times and always been pretty happy with it. Its cafe style lunches and snacks, offering a reasonably extensive menu. The food is 'homemade' and generally pretty good. Quantities would be fine for most people. The service can be a bit slow, especially if it is busy. Certainly the best place in Yungaburra though for a... More

This is a nice simple, delicious cafe. It is set over 3 levels, two of these in the gardens, where it is nice and cool. The meals are tasty and the coffee fantastic.

Seems small on outside but has large seating in garden to side. Food is great with lots of choices and even better prices (average $10). The pancakes my brother ordered were amazing (one of best I've seen at cafes and I've been to a lot). Now I understand why it was busy for a small town
