Late lunch (2PM) on a Friday so restaurant was somewhat empty, so we were immediately seated. As we were first time visitors to this restaurant, we took our time reviewing the extensive menu of Chinese, Korean and Thai options, both settling on a Thai dish; the Basil Medley (with extra spice requested) and the Thai Basil Chicken (pictured of each... This place is fabulous and has the best sushi around. Yum! Of course they have other things besides sushi. Great atmosphere, good service, and beautiful sushi.

I had been to Choe's Asian at The Greene one other time and liked it. It's a bit out of the way, near the Funny Bone. Friendly wait staff and good food. The 'special' app of the night was Crab Rangoon and it did not disappoint. We also tried the Tempura Peppers which are listed as HOT. They actually weren't... More

My wife and I live near the Greene so we come here pretty often on the special occasion. We always have good experience at this place. I know that their sushi are really good in Dayton area, and the Korean dishes are just authentic as it could be (the owner are Korean). We usually go for those two kind of... More

Visited for the first time despite mixed reviews. Eh! My companion had egg drop soup and moo goo gai pan. She said both were ok - not a ringing endorsement. I had the hot and sour soup. Certainly hot but where's the sour? (A regular failing among Chinese restaurants). This was followed by General Tso's chicken. Looked nice but it... More

This place is excellent. I would say a must go if you are at The Greene. I have gone for lunch and gotten the lunch set and it is great. You have lots of options on the menu. The service is good, the menu is long, the atmosphere is great and it is just a great place. Enjoy

I've had many great meals here, but when something goes wrong and the kitchen manager argues with you over the phone, I'm done. That is not good customer service. You don't argue! You listen and compromise. I'm 25 + years in this industry and very customer oriented and educated. i was invited to receive a refund, but after the argument... More

Sushi, Thai, Chinese and even Korean. Really should try and focus on just one or two and do that well. And also seemed a bit pricey, especially for some of the Sushi and Chinese choices. But did see the few Korean choices seemed a bit more reasonable so decided to try one of them. In this case Bibimbap - A... More

My friends and I have been to Choe's on many occasions, and have always enjoyed a good quality meal. This restaurant is designed to be a "high end" Asian restaurant that serves high quality food, but it has sure established itself as a low end overpriced eatery. When we first entered the restaurant, around 5:30 on a Monday evening, there... More
