The service was excellent. The food was excellent. They always make you feel welcome. If you have any questions about what is happening in Berlin, they are happy to help.

This is the first time we had a chance to eat at Boyd and Wurthmann while in Amish County and it didn’t disappoint. Two of us had the veal which was fantastic. One person in our group had the roast beef dinner, and the others...More

Love this place. The place where locals gather Totally awesome down home cooked food from scratch! Best Swiss Steak, Chicken, sandwiches and Peanut Butter Pie. Far superior to the chain restaurants or the big buffets.

The restaurant was small and quaint, but the service and food were outstanding. The girls were all amish and were very fast on their feet. The portions are enormous, and the deserts are delicious! Only downfall is it's cash only.

Yes we stood in line, but it moved quickly and there were some nice people to talk with while waiting. The service was fast and the menu selections were interesting. Breakfast is served only until 10:30am, so I didn’t get to try their fried mush....More

Food was just okay. I was expecting to be "wowed" based on reviews but ended up being a bit disappointed. We didn't try any pie but maybe should have as most of the rave reviews were about that.

"where the locals eat" Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant still serves a 75¢ cup of coffee and is one of the oldest established businesses in Berlin, Ohio. The restaurant is family-owned and has been in business since 1938. Our Amish cooks do a great job making home-style food you are sure to enjoy! We serve daily specials plus a large variety of homemade pies. Closed Sunday.
