Not into "whose restaurant it is" but come to find out this is a Zack Bruell place and he is a big deal in Cleveland. You wouldn't know it from the prices but would from the food. I've never had octopus but after quizzing a few servers/bartenders I decided to go for it. It was tremendous - and I'm a... More

We were visiting Cleveland - my husband is a fan of Italian and something a little different so this should have been perfect. Sadly it was just ok. Apps were good. My first choice for my entrée was Fettuccini Carbonara but the waiter talked me out if - said it is too rich, so I ordered the Seafood Cannelloni which... More

My wife and I went here for a date night on a Friday. I heard about the place from a friend and was aware ahead of time that this wasn't a spaghetti and meatball type of restaurant. Unless you have very adventurous children, this isn't the place for them. I made reservations for 6pm, but I don't think I would... More

My wife picked Chinato for a special occasion with friends. The restaurant seating is cramped, it was uncomfortably warm and our waiter whiffed on the standard question, "What is good to eat on the menu?" The calamari and mushroom stuffed ravioli apps were good. The wine list was also pretty good. Entrees were poor. Our group tried a variety of... More

First time visit - excellent food - loved the swordfish with olive topenade - delicious! Good wine list - nice atmosphere - would recommend another strong location on East 4th!

I would give the service a 4 - a lovely staff kept bread plates and water glasses full and the rest of the service was efficient as well. For me the highlight was the rice balls served with shaved Parmesan and marinara sauce as an appetizer. They had a nice crisp crust and the balance of flavors was very good.... More

The staff was wonderful and very attentive. It was busy so great service goes a long way. My pasta was a little dry. Perhaps it had been sitting for a bit? Not sure. The other 3 people that were with us really liked their meals. Worth a second try.

On this visit I had a small meal--a salad and calamari. The salad had pumpkin seeds and turnips on it and was so delicious. The calamari looked different than it had the other two times I got it, but it was so delicious. Last time it was more covered with sauce, this time the sauce was at the bottom but... More

We visited the restaurant before a show at the Quicken Loans arena. Our reservations were for 2 hours before hand, we thought this was plenty of time.......how wrong?! Our appetiser of fried rice balls with marinara sauce arrived almost instantly and was delicious. I thought this was a good sign and couldn't wait for our mains. 1 hour later, we... More

Hosted a dinner for 47 people. The staff, service and entire experience from start to finish was excellent. We pre-selected 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 3 desserts for a smaller menu and offered an open bar with beer and wine. Our group was alone in the basement dining space. The wine selection was delicious, entrees all came out at the... More
