Business trip, staying at the Hilton. Looking for a quick place to grab lunch to go. Saw this place and just had to try it. Very old school inside. I mean, when was the last time you saw a cigarette vending machine? 1970? I asked Karl, "Gotta go with the hot corned beef, right?" He said hot corned beef was... More

Stopped in for a quick lunch with my wife on a Saturday. We split the Turkey Reuben because if was big enough for 2 for lunch. Had fries on the side and it was very good and very well priced. Very nice lady working the counter. Would certainly go back to this place again when in town. They had some... More

Was in Cleveland doe a convention and Karl's was recommended by a Cleveland ambassador. It was the largest corned beef sandwich I've seen! Delish! The French fries were also great. Karl, the owner, is a salty dog! Spent quite a bit of time chatting with us. Loves his job (it's obvious). He also gave us a sample of his pastrami... More

The corn beef sandwich is what they are known for. Maybe plan on sharing... it is huge. Good fries and pleasant employees.

This place has been in downtown Cleveland, like forever! And it has it's place. You want breakfast? Lunch? A place to grab something on the sidewalk on game day? This is the place! Not always open for dinner - call ahead. But a homey place where you can get most anything with some good old fashioned conversation! Recommend it if... More

Great breakfast & lunch spot. We found it as we missed the breakfast at the Hilton. Great omelettes for half the price. The sandwiches looked so good that wee got some to go for the trip back home.

On our way out of town we were looking for a good quick breakfast. A limited menu but enough to choose from for a decent meal.

The day before taking in a football game at First Energy Stadium in downtown Cleveland, 3 hungry football fans stumbled upon Karl's Inn of the Barristers. We were checking on Yelp for a good deli type restaurant and was unable to find it. We looked up from our phones and my grandson said Karl's looked like what we wanted. What... More
