We spent a week in Hersonissos , and i must say this place was our absolute favourite. Even though we booked half board basis , most of the time we chose to eat here for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Best place in Hersonissos without a doubt! I highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

Really nice looking restaurant and bar. Good staff but service was a little slow considering the restaurant wasn’t full. The menu is not what you would normally expect to see and at first I was struggling to choose something. However I ended up ordering the coast burger which was one of the best burgers I have had in a long while. The portions were a very good size and we all came out very full. Food prices are good for the quality and portion size you get. We was overcharged on the wine which we spotted on the receipt by about 8 EUR, this was resolved quickly and they apologised. Apparently it was a computer error, However, overall I would recommend this restaurant for very good quality food.

The menu is smaller than most but each dish is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We ate here a few times for snacks, coffees and full dinners and were always very happy. Very chilled vibe, beautiful beach setting and great staff.

THE WORST MEAL I have had in a long time !!

Well where do I start the waiter was nice enough he was wearing all white and chatty . But kept on sitting down with another table , We both ordered the penne chicken pasta it took about 20 mins first time round and was luke warm , I’ve eaten pasta in many places but this was something else . We were not offered any Parmesan. There was a sharp horrible aftertaste and big lumps of something In the pasta as seen in the photos I’ve never eaten penne pasta this colour before looked more like a curry . We told the waiter that we were not happy and would like it hot and there was a bad taste to it . 20 mins later 2nd portion came it was slightly warmer but tasted exactly the same I think the sauce came out of a tin , had some lumps of something in it and was inedible. It came with no cutlery I had to ask the waiter twice as he was more concerned about chatting up some girls on another table he sat with for the whole amount of time we were there . We again were not happy and told a different waiter that we were not satisfied with the service and the meal . I asked to see a manager but there wasn’t one and asked to speak to the waiter all dressed in white but he stayed Chatting to the girls , there was nothing offered /no reduction not even complimentary water , service from the guy 2/10, food 0/10, There was a girl serving some of the time and she was very good and much better . All in all I would not recommend to eat here it was a shame as I seen there was so many good reviews .

The best food eaten in Crete

I’ve visited Crete now for over 13 years and stayed in meany different parts, this restaurant is by far the best food I’ve ever eaten on the island. We only spent a week in Crete on the most recent trip but visited this restaurant twice. The service and food was outstanding, the setting was beautiful, the beach is well kept. I doubt you could find anything better. What’s also nice about this establishment is that the menu is small, the chefs know the dishes well. The ribeye steak was phenomenal and actually fairly priced. What can I say, if you don’t visit then you’ll miss out.

Highly recommend this wonderful bar/cafe/restaurant. Food is beautiful and the staff are excellent. We loved having lunch sat outside overlooking the beach and inside was also very good. Great choice of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Spotlessly clean throughout. A great experience

Absolutely amazing. Dropped in for lunch and a cocktail and it was a highlight of our trip. I’m gluten free and the staff and chef were knowledgeable and made me an adapted dish. The food and cocktails amazing which was a welcome break from our all inclusive resort down the road, the staff friendly and funny and not pushy at all. If you are in the area it is a must even if it’s for just a drink ( I highly recommend the Forrest daiquiri)

The meal took 45 minutes (HotDog and Souflaki) and arrived lukewarm. Mediocre in taste. The dishes are prepared by a kitchen outside the restaurant and brought to the restaurant across the street outside (without cover!). Hygienically not optimal The ice cubes in the drinks were dirty. No recommendation!! The view of the sea was beautiful, the interior rather less.

Horrible experience, we waited 1hr for the worst sushi of our lives. The combo platter for 23€ included 16 mini pieces of low quality fish, avocado which was spoiled already , and apparently they were out of tuna. Don’t go there, worst tourist trap in Greece!

This high quality, up market sushi dinner was absolutely incredible. The prep time was a bit longer than most sushi places which we think is a great thing as we knew it was as fresh as it could be. Full of flavour and a brilliant balance of textures and flavours - AMAZING. Staff are friendly but not overbearing, and the whole experience was just fab. Will be coming again during our holiday :)

The café is right on the beach with its beach loungers, which is also part of a hotel. Since I ate in the hotel, I only had a drink that day. But what was served looked really delicious and you could have everything brought to your lounger. Really great. On the day of departure, there was also sushi to eat. I can only say it was excellent, freshly made and the price was right. Since I always drank the same thing, I didn't even need to order anything else. It was brought straight to my table 😄 very attentive.

The Carbonara was excellent. It was also nice that this original Italian was prepared. The burger was extremely disappointing. It was not a smash burger (very thick patty), the meat felt not seasoned at all & the general composition leaves a lot to be desired... unfortunately one of the worst burgers I have ever had. Mind you, this is twice as expensive as other nearby restaurants. The “homemade” lemonade is very delicious. Unfortunately, the frappé was inedible. Unfortunately, we had to leave... Service was rather mediocre.

Visited on our first day as it is very close to the albatross for a quick snack… excellent, beautiful seaside view. Went back twice at lunchtimes Both for the fantastic burgers. Proper beef burgers, not nasty cheap rubbish from the freezer! The only place we have been asked how we want our meat cooking! Great food, good value. Not cheap but you get what you pay for
