The restaurant itself has not been updated in at least 10 years. The staff are polite and courteous and efficient. The food is well cooked if not lacking in imagination and style, you could have exactly what you had 10 years ago and most probably did. The restaurant has no wow and gives an OK meal, there is some very... More

Joined friends here for a highly enjoyable meal from the Prix Fixe Dinner Menu. There is little not to appreciate here from the inventive menus to the professional yet friendly service. My Steamed Steak & Kidney Suet Pudding was truly memorable.

We had a fantastic meal here for my wife's birthday. Attentive service without being intrusive, absolutely first class food and wine and all for a reasonable price, we'll definitely be back!

We went to the fox and goose at fressingfield and that was fabulous but expensive and we couldn't walk there! Food here was as good if not better and reasonably priced. Ask to sit upstairs. Only tip from the boys get beer on tap rather than bottles. The desserts work out very reasonable and are especially delicious.

A small but wonderful restaurant offering a fabulous choice of menu, flavours to die for. Well worth a trip to Norfolk to experience if you like quality food, served by attentive staff in delightful surroundings.
